Stuck
On the morning of October 7th, Dana — a drifting young Palestinian-American woman — wakes up hungover and unaware that the world has just shifted. Still tangled in the haze of the previous night, she is startled by a familiar yet haunting presence: her father, Saleh Said, a legendary Palestinian activist. He appears in the form of his younger self, a charismatic revolutionary from the 1960s. Whether he’s a ghost or a figment of her imagination remains unclear — but his urgency is real.
This is a short film dedicated to my father, who sadly passed away on August 17th, 2025. Every time I take this to a new place, I feel his spirit alive with me.
The campaign for Stuck was launched in September of 2024 and was Greenlit! We filmed a short entitled Stuck in April of 2025, started submitting to festivals, and have gotten into 7 so far and counting. We have been to Chicago, New York, LA, Dearborn and are planning to be in Vancouver, Toronto, Oregon, Lexington and more. If you want to know more, click below to our instagram account.
